Welcome To DevX Guyana!

devX is Guyana’s first month-long, online & offline digital industry exhibition. From August 4th – 31st, 2017, devX comes off with an online showcase ( www.devxevent.com ) coupled with an exciting series of events at the Giftland Mall and weOwn space in Guyana.

The devX organizers are a collective of digital industry professionals and University of Guyana, Computer Science faculty and students who are similarly inspired to play an active role in stimulating growth in Guyana’s nascent digital industry. The organizers hope to promote a culture which inspires all veteran, budding and aspiring Guyanese digital industry professionals to collaborate, act on their ideas, produce their innovations and showcase their work.

devX initiatives and events have been designed to:

• demonstrate Guyana’s capacity for national competitiveness through our digital industry.
• showcase & promote the talents and innovations of Guyanese digital industry professionals.
• Attract potential investors and create opportunities for local digital industry professionals on the International Market.
• Inspire Guyana’s youth in the way of tech for a sustainable future for our developing digital industry.

• Foster connections among Guyana’s tech community and the wider communities within the public,
