Amelia discovered her passion for working with special needs children at a special needs camp on a study trip to New York. Since receiving her Master’s Degree in Special Needs Education from the University Of Nottingham, Amelia has served as an educator for over 7 years. She admits that the young persons she works with at school and at church are her main source of motivation. “It brings joy to my heart being able to know that I have influence in their lives,” she affirmed. She reflected on her time studying overseas as being a very enlightening experience which significantly helped to shape the person she is today and said she would recommend studying abroad to any individual, “it exposes you to a whole new level of thinking,” she confirmed. Her Words Of Inspiration “Put God first, He is the source of everything and once you do, you also have to put in the hard work. God has invested and planted within each of us something we can use so we just need to tap into that.”
